Rowan Felted Tweed
Felted Tweed offers an exciting alternative to the traditional dk weights. Soft Merino wool (50%) is blended with Alpaca (25%); Viscose/rayon (25%) is added to complete the softness with strength. The yarn knits to a dk weight, but has the length of a 4 ply, but the wonderful new qualities of the
Felted Tweed can be best appreciated in the final knitted piece which carries a flat and cloth like definition to the stitch whilst maintaining it’s knitted character. The contrasting nebs sharpen the natural shades. We tempt you to select one of the many shades which have nature’s colours as their inspiration.
