Due to circumstances beyond our control we are closed Saturdays and Sundays. How To Find Us We are about a mile and a half from the centre of Chester. If you are coming by train you will have to go into the centre of Chester to the bus exchange, which is behind the Town Hall. You can get the number 10 bus from the bus exchange, and get off at Rybrooks, the Jaguar/Volvo garage, this is the stop before the Sealand Road Park & Ride car park if the bus driver is unsure. At the traffic lights turn left into Sovereign Way, then turn down the third road on the right, this is Minerva Avenue. At the T junction turn right and walk through the barrier for Evans Easy Space Business Centre, then turn immediately left. Then turn right and we are down at the end of the row of units - Number 48 - there are signs outside. It is only a 5/10 minute walk from the bus stop. It sounds further but the roads are all short. | Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept payment by most major Credit Cards, UK Debit Cards & PayPal. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. Please note that the US$ exchange rate shown on the website is intended as a guide only, as fluctuations in the exchange rate vary day by day and charges made by credit card companies vary from company to company. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express and UK Debit Cards. You may send your credit card information via phone, snail mail or by email. When you receive confirmation of an order from us it is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an email to notify you that your order has been processed and despatched. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We reserve the right to refuse an order if we are advised by our payment processers that a tranaction may be 'high risk' or possibly fraudulent. If a product offered by us itself is not as described your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition. Stash Fine Yarns uses the Huey Colour Management System in the production of all of it's copyrighted images to ensure accurate rendition on colour. Please note that although our screens have been colour corrected yours is probably not which will lead to differences in colour rendition. | Shipping And Handling Shipping charges are displayed at the checkout stage. Whilst we do try our best to maintain an accurate pricing, we do occasionally make mistakes and will seek to rectify any errors as soon as possible. Please note that postage charges are subject to VAT (if payable) at the standard rate of 17.5% This tax is imposed by Her Majesty's Customs and Excise. |
| Delivery Schedule We aim to process and deliver your order right away. Normally we will despatch your order to you within 2 working days after payment has been cleared. In the extremely rare event of an order being lost/delayed in the post we will resend/refund after the following time period:- UK orders: 15 days after the expected delivery date. Overseas orders: 25 working days from the date of posting. This is the minimum time needed to complete the full international delivery process and includes the time taken for items to return to the UK in the event of non-delivery abroad. These time scales are those dictated by Royal Mail (our prefered delivery agent) in their 'Mail Claims' criteria and give resonable time to allow delayed items to be delivered prior to a loss situation being declared. We abide by this statement to avoid orders being received by the customer twice and then having to be returned, resulting in compensation claims against us for out of pocket postal charges by the customer. UK standard 1st class mail is not trackable, unlike the more secure 'Signed For' & 'Special Next Day Delivery' options offered in the checkout cart. If you require a more secure/guaranteed UK service please select 'Special Next Day Delivery' in the checkout cart which will guarantee delivery before 1pm the following working day. We use Airmail Small Packet for all our overseas deliveries which once again is not trackable. 'Airsure'/'International Signed For' can be arranged for an additional charge. Please contact us for further details if you require this service. |
| Back Orders On the rare occasion that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will usually be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
| Tax Charges All products are quoted in the catalogue inclusive of UK VAT. Customers purchasing from the UK or the EU will be charged VAT at 17.5%. VAT is deducted at the cart stage of the purchase for customers outside of the UK & EU once their country of origin is entered. |

| Returns Policy You have the right to cancel an order within seven days of purchase or within seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). Should you wish to cancel your purchase within seven days, please contact us. Providing that unwanted goods are received back to us in unused, unopened and resaleable condition within seven days of delivery, we will refund payment for the goods. Orders placed by credit or debit card from this web site will be refunded directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by cheque. These refunds will be made within 14 days of return of the goods being received. We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt.
