Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payment by most major Credit Cards, PayPal, and British Bank cheques drawn in Sterling.
If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Electron. You may send your credit card information via phone, snail mail or by email.
When you receive confirmation of an order from us it is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an email to notify you that your order has been processed and despatched. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We reserve the right to refuse an order if we are advised by our payment processers that a tranaction may be 'high risk' or possibly fraudulent.
Stash Fine Yarns' online store attempts to be as accurate as possible. However we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. If a product offered by us itself is not as described your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition.
Stash Fine Yarns uses the Huey Colour Management System in the production of all of it's copyrighted images to ensure accurate rendition on colour. Please note that although our screens have been colour corrected yours is probably not which will lead to differences in colour rendition. This fact must be allowed for when considering your purchase.
Health and Safety:- In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 and the Consumer Protection Act 1987. Celticove confirms that the goods it supplies as a distributor do not present a hazard to Health and Safety, (a) when properly used for the purpose for which they are designed and (b) if the customer takes reasonable and normal precautions in their use.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping charges are displayed at the checkout stage. Whilst we do try our best to maintain an accurate pricing, we do occasionally make mistakes and will seek to rectify any errors as soon as possible. A standard charge of £0.50 is added to all orders to cover the costs of packaging and handling regardless of order size or value. Please note that postage, packaging and handling charges are subject to VAT (if payable) at the standard rate of 17.5% This tax is imposed by Her Majesty's Customs and Excise.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to process and deliver your order right away. Normally we will despatch your order to you within 2 working days after payment has been cleared.
All items purchased from Stash Fine Yarns' online store are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title of such items pass to the customer upon delivery to Royal Mail. Any claims for loss in transit must be made to the relevant carrier.
Back Orders
On the rare occasion that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
All products are quoted in the catalogue inclusive of UK VAT. Customers purchasing from the UK or the EU will be charged VAT at 17.5%. VAT is deducted at the cart stage of the purchase for customers outside of the UK & EU once their country of origin is entered.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They procesed by PROTX Online Services who act on our behalf. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy
You have the right to cancel an order within seven days of purchase or within seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). Should you wish to cancel your purchase within seven days, please contact us. Providing that unwanted goods are received back to us in unused, unopened and resaleable condition within seven days of delivery, we will refund payment for the goods. Orders placed by credit or debit card from this web site will be refunded directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by cheque. These refunds will be made within 14 days of return of the goods being received. We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt. The cost of returning goods will be borne by you unless the goods are faulty.
